There is also an improvement in peripheral circulation. This better circulation is due to a better perfusion of the extremities. The breakdown of glucose and fatty acids is faster due to increased metabolism.

Yoga has also helped prevent or control serious health problems. For example, it reduces blood pressure, which helps prevent hypertension, heart disease, and stroke. In addition to the benefits for the heart, yoga can reduce cholesterol, which helps prevent many other health problems and strengthens the function of the immune system.
